In a powerful display of unity, CIER, One Drop, and young Indigenous ambassadors from regions across Canada gathered in late 2023 to co-launch the Indigenous Youth, Art and Water Initiative – IYAWI. Supported by various Indigenous-led organizations, these ambassadors are now embarking on community art projects aimed at addressing the water issues that are disproportionately affecting First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities across Canada.
